We, as God’s children, are sent out like lambs among the wolves, into the sinful world. Thus we need authority, so that we will not be at the mercy of the world which constantly seduces and mocks at us. We need authority not merely to survive in the world, but also to impact and bless the world. Jesus said He has given us His authority. We can enjoy this authority when we believe His truth more than the devil’s lies and when we live by this truth to fulfill His will.
