Walking Out Of The “Guilt” Closet

Sins are a part of us. And with sins, they are accompanied by a dear friend called Guilt. Guilt, unlike most sins, are hidden and subtle. It stays in a closet of our hearts and makes its appearance from time to time. But what makes it a lethal weapon of faith is that it continues to haunt us, cripple us and remind us of how “lousy” we can be because of some past and even present struggles with sins. Many times, guilt is the root reason of us turning away from God. So how do we resolve the guilt that we are laden with?
Oiling Up Life’s Gears

Let us all be more aware of where our “gears” in life jam up, and start “oiling it” frequently with the Lord’s truth, so that our faith continues to keep those gears running in the certainty of God’s presence and perfect will.
Unwavered In Wavering Times

As we are battling this COVID season, especially the battle within our heart and mind, let us use the truth of God to get into the battlefield. Test and approve all our thoughts and reflect on our feelings, so that we will not be easily wavered during these wavering times.
Gaining Back The Time We Lost

Our lives are intertwined with joyful but also joyless moments. Many times, we dwell on thoughts of past regrets, “could haves” and time wasted away. But the Lord has a spiritual remedy for those looking to redeem their lost time – Repentance.
How Does Our Focus Shift When The Going Gets Rough?

When the going gets rough in life, we typically focus on ourselves and our emotions. However, let us learn to shrug off typical responses and react by the spirit instead. If not, we will have a very superficial faith and one that will easily falter with the temptations and traps of the world. May we all train ourselves in trusting and waiting upon the Lord to reveal His will to us. Those whom He loves, He will surely carry them through.
A Look At The Undying Old Self

Many believers are often struggling with the question: Why am I still struggling with this old self of mine? And even though we are trying to wrestle with it, the more we do so, the more tired we can get. From there, it leads to a series of frustration and disappointment with self. So how should we re-look at our undying old self today?
Recalibrate Our Fear Processor

As we accept God’s complete love for us and become more one-hearted in submitting to the Lord’s leading, fear will dilute and have lesser hold on us. We will start to see that the things we fear may not matter as much as before and peace becomes a more frequent visitor than our fears. May we all recalibrate our fear processors daily to allow God’s complete love and promises to flow in, driving out all fears.
Become A Sharper Lie Detector and Truth Applicator

When the word of God brings us to certain perspectives, it may not be what we desire or what pleases us at first, but as we keep following in His leading, it becomes a stepping stone to many healing processes in our spirits.
Seeking Back The Initial Love For God

It seems that there is a phenomenon among many believers that as we know the Lord longer, we may also gradually grow cold in our love for the Lord and leading a life by faith. How then can we seek back that initial love, thirst and intimacy with the Lord?
“Forgetting What Is Behind And Strain Forward”

Now, our past has a kind of hold on us. Our past carries with it a chart of our experiences in life, our choices, our successes and even our mistakes. Because of this, it can bring about a lot of after effects, because these memories or feelings may stay with us or affect certain perspectives we have on present or future things. However, God has much in store for us in our present and our future. So let us keep in close communion with the Lord, and instead of dwelling in matters of the past, move ahead with faith and conviction of God’s enabling power.
