Who were involved before the Crucifixion of Jesus?

1) The people = Spectators

2) The Rulers = Inflictors

3) The Roman Soldier = Executors

The two robbers (or rebels) who were crucified alongside Jesus

1) Both robbers were initially impenitent (i.e. not showing repentance) at first.

2) But over the course of that few hours on the cross, one of the robbers started to see Jesus differently.

3) He recognized his own sin and called on the Name of Jesus.

The message of the Cross of Jesus

1) We’ve all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God

2) God sent His only Son for the atonement of sin
