Audio Player:

We all love to be someone great. Even if we are not the ambitious type, we also do not hope to be someone small and who is looked down upon. The question is, is it wrong to desire greatness? All parents will want to raise their kids to be someone great and useful; teachers hope their students will make it big; even we ourselves will want to ‘feel great’ to a certain extent. So what was Jesus’ answer to His disciples, who also aspired to be great? In , Jesus redefined what greatness is. He highlighted that to be great is to accept a lowly position, and He also taught His disciples how to practice humility practically. Jesus’ words to His disciples are also His teaching for us today.
