In our Christian faith, God sometimes bring us into situations which fall short of our expectations. It is at moments like these that God truly wants us to be discerning about our expectations, and clarify the motives of our hearts.
When the reality is far from our expectations, our response to God and men will reflect what we truly hold onto in our Christian walk. If it is the promise of God that we are clinging on to, even when things are not within our grasp or as expected, we will pray that God’s grace and truth work in our hearts until we can be in partnership with God in the things He has set out to accomplish in His perfect will.
