“Where Are You?”
<Genesis 3>
7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.
8 Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden.
9 But the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?”
10 He answered, “I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.”
21 The Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them.
“Where are you?”: Are you in the right place?
“Where are you?”: God’s love and mercy.
“Where are you?”: God is seeking for you.
<Ezekiel 18:32> For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign Lord. Repent and live!
“Where are you”: God’s desire to save.
<Luke 19:10> “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”
<John 3:16> For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
JESUS CHRIST
“Where are you?”: God judges sinners.
