The Revelation Of Our Faith- Our Relationships

Men’s emotions or thinking are always fluctuating. And in this COVID season, many weak sides of people will surface. However, we must receive strength, comfort and wisdom from the gospel to relook at the relationships God has given us. Let us examine our own faith as we peep through the looking glass of our relationships with others.

Facing Our Selfish Nature

Our selfish nature is a hard enemy to fight, because it is within us and comes by so easily. But in Colossians 1:29 it says, “For this I toil, struggling with all His energy that He powerfully works in me.” Certainly, we are not able to do it or sustain it on our own. But that is precisely why Jesus is our portion, giving us strength to keep going against those selfish tendencies. As we draw near to Him as a source of healing, hope and power, He will surely help us through this journey.

True Healing Starts From The Spirit

It is undeniable that we will still have recurring fear, worries and struggles. These are areas that when left and not dealt with in truth, will become a deeper spiritual wound over time. Only when we are spiritually healed, will we be able to receive the convictions of the Holy Spirit and understand the way God wants to lead us. So today, no matter what circumstances we are in, God wants us to first heal our spirit, then will the doors of gospel open up for us. But how can we receive healing?

The Art Of Casting Our Cares To The Lord

There are a lot if invisible stress that people are going through everyday. And when busy, people are often bounded by their tasks at hand. We easily get absorbed and overwhelmed. So it is important to take the time and really ask ourselves, what is the value in the things we are putting some much care? How can we cast our cares to the Lord today and listen to His voice before we hustle through our busy living?

“Consider How Far You Have Fallen”

Let us not be nonchalant or too complacent about the deep issues in our lives, but face it, be conscious and sensitive about it. Then, rely on the Holy Spirit’s conviction to deal with it. That is where healing can begin.

Seeing Stagnancy In A New Light

“My life is so stagnant. Nothing great is happening. I don’t seem to have much testimonies these days. Everything is just the same old routines.” Stagnancy in life takes up a large part of our living. While it is not necessarily a bad thing, but by human nature and when not guarded, it is easy to lament, get bored or feel jaded with the life God has currently put us in. Let us find out how we can shed new light on the stagnancy we are facing in life.

Becoming More Consistent In Faith

It is inevitable that we will meet with many small and big difficulties in life that will tempt to break our pattern in relying on the Lord. But may we continue to remember the effects of inconsistency in faith and have a heart of Daniel that is always preparing and keeping ourselves guarded in this world.

Make The Most Of Our Time

Our time in this world is truly limited and instead of seeing it as the world sees, let us be reminded never to outgrow our need to pray, gather and stay firmly planted patiently in the Lord’s work.

Be A Word Keeper

We are all representatives and ambassadors of God. All that we have said or done are all done within the sight of the Lord. Therefore, we must not take what we say lightly. When we honour our every word, it really gives weightage to our Christian belief and the image of God through our lives. It reflects that our truthfulness are in fact, showing how even more trustworthy our God can be.
