#6 – Temptation and Evil

As we close this series on the Lord’s Prayer, we are reminded that prayer is not just about seeking God’s provision but also about seeking His protection from the subtle forces of temptation and accusation. In the Reformed tradition, we recognize that only by the grace of God, through Christ’s intercession and the Spirit’s help, can we stand firm against the schemes of the enemy. Let us approach God in prayer, trusting in His sovereignty and seeking His guidance in all things, for He alone is our refuge and strength.

#5 – Daily Bread and Forgiveness

God sovereignly provides for our daily needs, pointing us to Christ, the true Bread of Life. Just as we depend on Him for sustenance, we also rely on His grace to forgive as we have been forgiven in Christ. True forgiveness flows from the gospel, freeing us from sin’s grip and enabling us to extend His mercy to others.
