Verse of the Week
“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand and it gives light to everyone in the house.” <Matthew 5:14>
(It would be good for parents to go through the bible verse with the children before watching the Video Lesson, and have a little notebook or journal where children can copy down the verse/draw something related to it).

Darkness Scavenger Hunt
- Have the letters “L I G H T” written on some large cards/paper and hidden at different parts of a room.
- Explain to the child that they have to find 5 letter cards hidden around the room.
- Switch off the lights and give the child a flashlight (or handphone torchlight) to go around the room searching for the 5 letter cards.
- Once found, get them to arrange the letters rightly to form the word “light”!
