We are all wounded; but it is hard to admit that we are hurt, because it makes us seem weak. Yet, in reality, wounds have driven people apart, caused divisions in the church, led to divorces, etc. Wounds made us subjective, narrow-minded, and only concerned about “me, myself and I”. Our wounds are a result of a deep spiritual problem; at the root of our wounds is disbelief. Thus, it is impossible to overcome our wounds without the gospel.
